Kirby is working with the sketch artist. He's asking her if she changed her route, dressed differently, or wore perfume. Why?

She's angry that he's not listening to her. He claims that sketches are only to show those who know the suspect a way to identify him.

That won't work.

Harper wakes in the hospital. He's handcuffed to the bed. He asks another patient to help him out. Harper's flexor tendon was sliced. The guy obliges, immediately regretting his decision.

Harper struggles back to his house.

Dan is at the police station. He wonders if the detective thinks Kirby is lying. Then he sees the sketch. It worked. He recognizes him from outside of Julia's house.

The detective turns that around by saying that must be where the guy saw Kirby.

Dan catches up to Kirby, who has a copy of the sketch. She's determined to hit the streets to find Harper. Dan tells her that he knows how her. And then Kirby shares everything from how long she's known Harper to how her reality shifts on a dime. She uses the bar as an example, and Dan doesn't remember it being a laundromat.

Jinny asks the security officer about her keys. The old one is still on there. Someone's been using it. Someone is following her in. It stopped a couple of days ago.s

When Dan and Kirby get to the paper, it's a hive of activity. The article has created quite the furor.

Dan goes to see Abby. There is a meeting. They have all kinds of leads coming up, but none of them will pan out. Kirby wants to run with her story. Dan disagrees.

Jinny visits Kirby. She asks Jinny if she has experienced how reality shifts and notes that Harper saw it too.

Harper visits Leo. He wonders if Leo has ever seen things change. Leo wants to go back to the house. He's sick of this place. Harper says someone else saw the change, and it wasn't her first time. But she's never been to the house. Leo says maybe it's her making the change and she knows something Harper doesn't.

Harper is back at Jinny's house again. Kirby calls up about the key. He follows behind Jinny to the door and then watches from outside on the balcony. This time, Kirby hears a noise. Jinny has to go to cover the midnight show. When she walks away, there's more noise.

Kirby investigates, noticing the balcony door is open. Kirby is looking at her reflection in the glass while Harper stares back at her, and she changes in that instant. She feels it and Harper watches. Harper gets closer, and she's changed again. This time, her hair is short. He's amused.

When Kirby gets back to the office, Dan and Abby are on the line with Lynsky. Abby wonders if she took anything from her evidence bag. Now people think that she planted evidence.

Kirby leaves, crying.

As she's banging her head against a locker, Marcus finds her and takes her home.

Marcus has a lot of questions about her attack. For dinner, he's made her something that she doesn't recognize. Apparently, she created the concoction. They argue while she tries it for the first time. When she says it's good, he chuckles.

Dan visits Rachel at the religious place. Rachel assures Dan that Kirby isn't a liar and she's not nuts. That was her gig.

Marcus shows Kirby photos from his enlisted past. Kirby recognizes one of the tattoos. Harper is military.

Jinny gets to work, sensing that someone is following her. Harper has left a wingless bee on her desk.

Kirby visits the place where Julia worked. The nurse recognizes her. Kirby says they only use glamour shots if you get killed.

They find Leo. The place cannot find anything wrong with him. He's got a medal from Gallipoli. World War I.

Kirby tries to get through to Leo by showing interest in his possessions. Then she turns his head. What's his name? The man that visits you?

He doesn't want her tell him that he came here. He tells her that Harper won't let him back to the house. He also warns her away from Harper.

Leo gives her a video, but he doesn't want her to tell Harper that he gave it to her. As they watch, they realize that it's Harper's voice in the video, and the woman knows him.

Jinny is on the roof. Harper approaches. Hey, Jinny. She begins to back away. He wants to know how she knows Sharon. he learns that her name is Kirby. That's not her name, he says. Harper wants her to talk to Kirby for him.  He says she's already saying it because when he feels something, she knows. Kirby gets outside. Dan's car has changed. Harper says, Hey, I told you. Not today. And he leaves Jinny terrified on the roof alone.

Jinny is so angry. And there's her red umbrella.

Kirby is going to take the train home. He drove a tan Celica, which she describes, and he does too. It was his ex-wife's car.

Dan wonders if maybe what Kirby sees is what's to come.
