- Penny started taking a history class at the community college, but didn't tell anyone initially. She tells Bernadette and Amy, who convinces her to tell Leonard. She's apprehensive about telling him because he will want to help her. Over dinner, she tells Leonard and he does want to help, but she refuses. Leonard can't help it and reads her paper while she sleeps. It's bad and he rewrites it for her. She gets mad at him and they don't talk for two days. She gets a B- on her paper ... with help from Amy and Bernadette. They agree to keep her secret.

- Sheldon plays Word with Friends with Stephen Hawking and believes they are friends now. When Hawking doesn't play for a few days, Sheldon gets upset. Howard suggests that Hawking stopped playing because Sheldon was winning. Sheldon decides to throw the game and let Hawking win.
