Claire's dad has made dinner. He wants to talk. Has she forgiven him? She doesn't want to talk about it and would rather watch a movie.

Shaun is meticulously packing. He wants to go camping to take their mind off of their grief.

Glassman comes home and sets off his home alarm. Deb shows up with a gun. She's upset to find the gun is unloaded, leading to an argument about whether she should apologize for almost shooting Glassman or whether he created a dangerous situation by unloading the gun.

Lim sees a patient who she has been seeing since she was five with a discolored and painful neck. The girl wants surgery and Lim agrees, saying covering it with a turtleneck won't do any longer.

Morgan talks with a patient who used to be on antidepressants and is now self-medicating with hallucinogenic mushrooms. She thinks he should stop that right now. He says it's the first treatment that ever worked but agrees to tests.

Lea and Shaun discover they can't camp without a reservation. Shaun starts to get upset but Lea says they'll find someplace else to camp.

Lim notices Claire is quiet. Claire says she doesn't see a need to mess with what's working. Asher agrees because saying things to his parents hurt the relationship. Lim thinks Claire and Miles should clear the air. Anyway the patient is crashing.

Park agrees with the patient. Morgan is dismissive. Jordan is not surprised that they disagree. They always do. Anyway the patient has a fungal lesion.

Shaun and Lea find a campsite with a view of the lake... until some other RV pulls up in front of them.

Lim tells the parents that they will have do another surgery to temporarily remove the collarbone for better access. The parents just want to take their daughter home. Not possible. Could rebleed at any time. The mother says okay.

Morgan and Park talk to their patient, who wants to go back on the drugs after the surgery even though they caused this problem.C

Shaun and Lea make a fire but it starts raining.

Morgan and Park argue about what treatment to give this man. Andrews tells Park to make the call. Jordan says Park isn't objective when it comes to Morgan. Park decides on a minimally invasive approach.

Shaun and Lea cuddle together on the ground during the rain and there is a lot of noise. Shaun gives Lea earplugs They kiss.  The tent starts leaking. Lea wants to go home. Shaun doesn't want to. Lea decides to sleep in the car.

Claire and Miles finally talk. She wants to know how he could just disappear. He says it wasn't her. Things were a mess between him and her mom. Her mom was manic and told him he was worthless and only good for money, so he decided he was just going to give her money since that's how she felt. Claire says they never got any money. He says he sent money til she finished college. Claire never got any money from him. Miles says her mother stole that money. Claire is angry that Miles is blaming her mother for his failure to be a father. She doesn't want to talk to him anymore. She takes off.

Lea awakens alone. Shaun tells her he thought this would be helpful but he was wrong. They can go home. Lea wants to go hiking first as Shaun planned.

Claire is upset during surgery. Lim says it will not be easy to fix things with Miles. Asher thinks Miles doesn't deserve forgiveness. Anyway the girl's issue is so bad that she can't have it surgically removed without removing the lung. Claire goes to talk to the parents.

Glassman wants the ammunition kept separately from the gun. Deb doesn't like that. Glassman is confused by this. Deb complains he calls it his house and not their house. She thinks he wants to control her. She doesn't need a man to make her feel safe.

Lea thinks it's pretty here. She wants to take a picture of Shaun sitting on a log. Shaun jumps up on a log and falls down. His ankle is twisted all out of shape.

Shaun asks Lea to relocate his ankle. His toes are numb and he insists she do surgery on him with a pocket knife which she doesn't want to do.

Claire tries to explain. The parents don't want to cut out part of her daughter's lung. Claire tells them their daughter shouldn't forgive them for not giving her the surgery years ago and that they should stop blaming everyone but themselves (obviously talking about her father -- why are the parents accepting this?)

Shaun drinks tequila which makes him even more bossy than usual. Lea doesn't think she can do this. Shaun says she has to.

Meanwhile the surgery is not going well and Park realizes Morgan was right.

Meanwhile Lea's hand is shaking as she cuts into Shaun. He tells her to tighten to the tourniquet and use a sponge. He guides her through the surgery. But then he faints from blood loss.

Lea says to herself she can do this and realizes she has to improvise to suture Shaun's leg. (Also she is not wearing a mask and gloves so how is this at all sterile?)

Glassman asks Lim for advice. She tells him how her ex's abusive controlling behavior is part of why their marriage fell apart (which has absolutely nothing to do with Glassman's situation.)

Shaun wakes up and is fine. Lea says she's not done yet and drinks the tequila.

In the ambulance the EMT is almost as impressed as Shaun with Lea's surgical skills.

Depression guy will recover fully. Morgan suddenly is pro mushroom cultivation. Maybe the energy he put into the process is what helped.

Claire watches the parents with the little girl. They tell her it's their fault. The child forgives them.

Park tells Morgan their relationship was more than he thought it was. He doesn't want to be more that professional colleagues. Morgan won't accept that. Park says they have to pretend they never had a relationship.

Claire comes to see Miles. She says he was a horrible father but she should forgive him. She needs him. Miles wants to start over with a hug. Claire nods.

Deb is packing her stuff. Glassman comes in and says he was wrong because he took choice away from her.  She doesn't think she can make this work anymore. After all, he walked out of their wedding because of her bad grammar. They have too many painful moments. He says this is crazy  because he loves her. She says she loves him too but it's not enough.

Meanwhile, Lea puts Shaun's leg up for him. Lea says all the crazy things that happened were more of a distraction than she hoped for but she is glad he took her camping. They cuddle on the couch.
