-Mindy decides to accompany Casey on a volunteer mission to Haiti on the season finale of The Mindy Project. Danny and the rest of the office doesn't think Mindy will last a year away with Casey in the harsh conditions. to prove them wrong she and Casey go camping with Danny, Christina and Morgan. At their going away party Mindy tries to scare Casey into not wanting her to go on the trip. It backfires and he tries to propose to her. When she stops him, Casey says goodbye. Mindy and her two partners are called into action to deliver triplets. A conversation with their mother inspires Mindy and she runs to Casey's apartment to show him her new haircut. Mindy and Danny have a moment in the doctor's lounge, but before anything can happen, Mindy tells him she got back together with Casey.
