Although Chloe hopes that maybe some of the magic in her life will mean Xavier isn't really dead, she and her mom attend his funeral. She reads something in the eyes of his brother and redeems herself by ensuring he has a happy ending.

Chloe and Brian move forward in their relationship, and while Alek tells her to stay away, her mother urges her to take a chance on a boy who is willing to take a chance on her.

Scarface is on a nearby roof listening in on a phone conversation with Brian. To this point it does not appear Brian's father knows who he is interested in.
