On this episode of The Vampire Diaries...
- Esther is determined the turn Alaric into the ultimate hunter, which involves actually making him into a vampire. She traps all other vampires at the Decade Dance and steals Elena away to accomplish this mission. And it works, except... Alaric stakes Esther and killer her when he first wakes up.
But he knows it's just a temporary return to his normal self and volunteers to die before turning and killing everyone he loves. There's an emotional scene where he does just this, saying farewell to the Mystic Falls gang - except Esther then inhabits Bonnie's body, walks her into the cave where Alaric was about to perish and awakens him with Bonnie's witch blood.
The final scene of the episode of Alaric as a vampire, grabbing hold of the white oak stake.

I thought of this episode ok but I want the Stelena fans to rise again and have Delena fans get lost.It's too bad the season is ending. ;P

Elijah has given his word to elena so even when he does com back from being "dead' he can't hurt them. And i absolutely loved the scene beetwen Damon and Katherine in his bedroom because Kat is always using Damon's past feelings for her against him, but now she's starting to realize that those feelings are no longer there and that's because he's found his true love .

They just perfectly and effortlessly fit together and I'm glad that Ian said that they won't end up together in the series!!! *whew*!!!

In my opinion Damon and Elena are perfect together. Like rose said he could be the best thing for her or the worst. Even if it doesn't work between Damon and Elena and somehow Domon breakes her heart she'll always have Stefan if... But like that will happen Damon is the PERFECT match for Elena!!!!

I think they rushed into Stelena too quick and that's way Delena's more desirable. Damon and Elena's tension has built up for that last 2 seasons and Stefan and Elena's was broken in the first episode.

I think your all forgetting the interview where Ian Somerholder said that Damon and Elena would never be a couple. Not a Stelena or Delena fan just pointing out the obvious.

You know what popped into my head las night? That stefan and klaus should totally be together lol! That way they can leave damon and elena and tyler and caroline alone and stop ruining everything

damon and nina r absolutely my favorite, I don't want to see stefan with elena it's just not right!!!!!!
