Stefan visited Bonnie to try get forgiveness, but she slammed the door in his face. The ghost of Enzo appeared and said she was being too harsh on him. 

Caroline tried to chat with her daughters about the wedding ending, but one of them set a fire. 

Cade told Damon he had the Casket and the only way to get it back is to get the dagger. Stefan goes to try get it from Kai, but he stabs him. 

Damon breaks Kai's neck. They take him to the armory, where he says he can help Caroline with the twins. 

Damon and Stefan go to kill Cade, but when Damon tries to stop him, Stefan knocks him out. 

Caroline chats with Kai, who figures out there's something not right with the walls and siphons power. 

While Stefan fights Cade, Alaric rings the bell, but stops because the kids call him and let him know Caroline is missing. 

Cade knocks Stefan out, while Damon appears. Cade burns Elena's casket and Bonnie starts getting visions of it. She leaves Enzo to go help. 

Damon made a deal with Cade to take him and leave Stefan and Elena out of it.  Damon sacrifices his life. 

In purgatory, Damon gets ready to battle with Cade, but Bonnie shows up to battle with him. 

As Bonnie struggles to keep Cade from Damon, Stefan daggers Cade. He explodes, taking hell with him. 

Damon somehow manages to come back to life. 

Stefan and Caroline put their wedding back on. 

Bonnie puts Kai in a prison world, but Kai tells her that Katherine is the real villain.
