Meanwhile Alaric and Elena are trying to compel her to forget Damon using hypnotherapy, but they keep hitting roadblocks. Ric realizes that Elena needs to remember the exact moment she fell in love with Damon. Caroline says she won't admit it because it was during her time with Stefan.

Meanwhile Enzo and Caroline are on a roadtrip to follow leads but Enzo redirects them to Savannah to find Stefan. Their reunion doesn't go well. Caroline ends up in hysterics because Stefan admits he's been erasing her voicemails and not listening. Enzo doesn't take that well and promptly kills Stefan's girlfriend. Then he called him a horrible brother for giving up on Damon.

It turns out Jeremy has been mourning Bonnie secretly by paying her phone bill and leaving her nightly voicemails. We also find out that Matt's buddy on the Mystic Falls safety committee is none other than a member of the Fell family, who has secretly been killing vampires!
