Genet is on the warpath after Daryl slipped through her fingers.

She interviews people at Fallou's settlement and the woman who lost her husband says that there's a good chance Laurent will get to his destination because he's the chosen one.

This doesn't sit well with Genet who believes that hope is nothing but a coping mechanism for people when the world is done.

The woman laughs at her and Genet picks up her baby and smiles to it.

Daryl makes his way to Isabelle's apartment and they regroup and try to find Laurent.

Laurent makes his way to the Eiffel Tower but things go awry when a zombie lunges at him.

This starts a domino effect of zombies bursting out from inside the lower level of the tower.

Daryl and Isabelle show up in the nick of time to try help him but Daryl realizes that his dream about walkers walking by Laurent is fake.

Armand and more of Quinn's men show up and kidnap Laurent. Daryl manages to grab Armand out of the car and he makes comments about Isabelle being a bad girl, something that doesn't sit right with Daryl.

Daryl goes out of his way to make his mission to be a dick back to him and tells the story of him being the runt in the past.

Armand offers to help once Daryl says he'll kill him. Armand takes Daryl another way into the Demimonde.

Genet cuts a deal with Quinn to give him art if he hands over Daryl. Quinn agrees, but Codron is not convinced.

Anna is unsure why Quinn is going to these measures and Quinn tells her to look after Laurent.

Quinn tells Laurent everything and they slowly bond.

Armand is bitten and tells Daryl to get him to safety and tells him the way out. Daryl leaves Armand to die.

Fallou and Emile stage an attack on the Demimonde as Daryl sneaks through the tunnels and gets Laurent. Anna lets him go and Daryl beats Quinn up.

Once they escape, they head for the boat and Isabelle says she's staying behind. Quinn has the influence to help them out of the town safe.

Daryl isn't convinced but she tells him that he's the only one who can complete this task.

They get on the boat and leave Paris, while Isabelle returns to the Demimonde and Quinn has a smile on his face.
