Eugene, Ezekiel, and Princess are given jobs at the Commonwealth, while Yumiko is told to go meet the boss because there are some government jobs available that could be good for her.

Eugene gets closer to Stephanie, but he wants to contact his people. She helps him into the tower to send a message to Rosita.

They are caught and told they will go on trial, but Stephanie has some pull with the government and manages to save them.

Mercer is upset that he wanted them to get in trouble.

Maggie and Negan reach the house with supplies and find themselves arguing over how long to wait. Negan wants to go back straight away to help Alexandria.

Elijah and Gabriel arrive and they agree with Maggie to wait it out a night.

Aaron is haunted by dreams of his past as he realizes Alexandria is falling.

He goes out of his way to try to kill a stray Whisperer but Carol tells him that this path is not for him and that he should right the ship before it's too late.

He thanks her.

There are more than one Whisperer but the leader tells them he saw one of their people escaping the cave.
