I think the writers were geniuses pairing these two together. So much like Princess Lei and Han Solo!! LOL But in all seriousness, I like it that they chose for her someone "we" would never have considered to be a worthy love interest. I agree with the above poster, that Colin is an amazing actor. He makes you route for his character and want him to succeed in his pursuit of Emma. These two have such amazing chemistry, my t.v. screen actually sizzles whenever they are on!

Colin O'Donoghue has really made the iconic role of Capt. Hook completely his own in such a thrilling way! His Hook is dashing, witty and humorous; just dangerous enough to be interesting, and incredibly romantic -- much more so as his character has grown and changed. The Pirate who gradually remembered how to be a hero, has finally won the heart of his lovely Swan... I agree he has a very expressive face ( and it doesn't hurt that its such a handsome face). My favorite line from the Season Finale was actually at the Ball in the Enchanted Forest -- Emma doesn't know the dance they are seeing performed and Hook explains to her, "Its called a waltz. There's only one rule - pick a partner who knows what he's doing." Says it all ladies! And it helps that Mr. O'Donoghue is equally adept at the range of scenes played - from comedy to drama and adventure, to romance. I think the kiss Hook shared with Emma Swan at the conclusion of 3x22 finale was the most tender and movingly loving kiss I've ever seen on TV.

@ Diane S.

Diane, you post was awesome and well thought out. Colin made us really care about Hook, and feel his pain whenever he looked upon her with longing which was unreciprocated. I'm assuming that every time she rejected him, the audience felt his pain. What a joyful ending.... I never want this series to end.

Colin O'Donogue/Hook is amazing!! Probably the best actor I have seen in a long time. He is one of those actors where he can say a million words with the expression on his face/his eyes. I love him!

Hook's name is Killian Jones, but the sentiment is still very much appreciated :)

I absolutely cannot stand Enzo on The Vampire Diaries. I cheered when he died, groaned when he came back, and groaned a lot more when I read he will be a regular next season. And as for Rowan Pope...! I just want him gone yesterday. He is portrayed by a horrible actor, chewing up his scenes and spitting them out and totally overacting. Not to mention the character is over the top evil and unwatchable, even for Scandal.

It's hard to believe she was a figment of the show's imagination, right? Well done indeed!

A character I like is Thea Queen from Arrow. Willa Holland does pretty good acting for a minor role she's underrated.

It looks like the same person is complaining about Malia. But using different names. Lol

@ Vampbarbie

I can only speak for myself when I say that isn't the case. Personally I have nothing against Malia. I think there's a difference between a character establishing themselves and being a breakthrough character versus someone who is going to potentially be great. I don't think it's a matter of tons or one as you implied , kira fans coming out of the woodwork so much as general confusion that Malia who has the potential to be great but we haven't seen much of her yet somehow overshadowed kira who had an integral role in the season and was able to shine without stepping on toes so to speak. It would be like saying the season's best villain was Kate when she barely appeared and made enough of a dent in the season.

@ Vampbarbie

I covered the show last season and never had any hate on Malia. I assume a Kira board got wind of my choice for breakout. I thought Kira's parents were more integral than Kira. Perhaps she'll prove me wrong come June!

@ Carissa Pavlica

The reason Kira didn't peak my interest is because she took everything in stride. As for Milia ending up in a mental institution and telling stiles that she would rather be a coyate again tells us she's very troubled and not dealing the situation to well. Which makes her very relatable.

@ Carissa Pavlica

Respectfully and I truly mean that and in no way mean to be facetious,I don't think it's the matter of kira fans catching wind. I happen to be perusing through a handful of reviews here myself. I think it's just an honest to goodness headscratcher for some fans. I don't agree with some of the unnecessary hate on Malia as a character. That is equally as confusing. My personal viewpoint is we don't know enough about her to hate her for no reason, just like we don't know enough about her for me to consider her a breakout character. Potential she has that and I look forward to her in the new season. But so far her being interesting mostly revolved around her relationship with Stiles and relation to Peter and the potential that comes from that. I'll most likely consider her a breakthrough character this upcoming season when she's actually developed. Just to explain it in more detail. :)

@ mysti

Thank you for explaining, Mysti. The reason Kira is not a breakout character in MY mind is because when I thought about the show, she didn't even pique my interest. Whereas I enjoyed her first two appearances, the longer she was on the less interested I was in her character. I literally forgot she was on the show. That's not a good indicator of things to come for me from a fan perspective. However, what could happen with Malia intrigues me. We're all shaped by different factors, and something about Kira "unclicked" with me the more I got to know her. Like I said, hopefully that will change in a month.

In a long series of bad decisions over the last year, Malia might be one of Teen Wolf's worst. Not listening to your fanbase is one thing, but outright shoving in their faces something (like Malia) that they are very vocal in their dislike of, is some pretty piss-poor management. Which is to say that including Malia on this list is both laughable and baffling. She's widely hated, is horribly written, and her "chemistry" with Stiles is nothing more than O'Brien being able to have chemistry with a damn lamp and the fact that Malia is very obviously just the writers trying to shoehorn in a replacement Cora, who they have already admitted was just a stand-in for Erica, who they also have stated was originally intended to be a love interest for Stiles based off his chemistry with Derek. So, you know what? I'm done. Thanks for nothing, Teen Wolf. And thanks, TVFanatic, for continuing to highlight all the things about this show that have turned something I once loved and lauded into something that now makes me cringe.

I actually Malia is going to be a very good and complexed character IMO.Just the few secenes she was in. Had me wanting more. She's bad ass, synical, hot and isn't perfect. I mean really killed her family when she was little because she turned and we find out she's Hales daughter. Plus I would like to see more of her step dad. I like that actor. But her character will setup some interesting scenarios. I see her fitting right in.

@ Vampbarbie

And as much as I like Kira she could never replace Allison. I felt Malia has the charisma and attitude to play a better female lead. Kira was kind of a Mary Sue.
