Brian Dietzen

Brian Dietzen plays the assistant to the medical examiner Donald "Ducky" Mallard on the show NCIS. He has been with NCIS since Season 1, Episode 21, in a supporting role. Since Season 10 he is a featured cast member. He was born on November 14, 1977 in Barrington, Illinois and studied theater at the University of Colorado at Boulder's BFA acting program. Brian Dietzen made his big-screen debut alongside Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini in From Justin to Kelly (2003) . He graduated with a BFA, majoring in acting, the University of Colorado at Boulder. He performed with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival for two years and spent five years performing contemporary theatrical works like "Equus" and "Same Time, Next Year" honoring him with the UROP grant for Outstanding Achievement in the Creative Arts. Brian is what is referred to as a "triple threat" in the entertainment world: in addition to acting, he's also a talented singer and dancer.
