Paul Blackthorne broke into acting in England initially doing commercials. Blackthorne's first big screen movie was actually for the Bollywood movie, Lagaan in 2001. The man had to spend six months learning Hindi just for the role!
On the small screen, Paul starred in the UK medical drama Holby City before moving on to the American medical drama ER for 5 seasons. However, like co-star Kim Raver, Blackthorne's biggest small screen role would come as the terroriest Stephen Saunders on FOX's blockbuster 24.
After starring in his own short lived show The Dresden Files in 2007, fans of American television are lucky enough to see this British hunk as Shane in our favorite drama.
Paul is also a photographer and often uses his work to generate money for charity.
