Lipstick Jungle is Definitely Cancelled

To those that been holding out for Joe and Victory's wedding on Lipstick Jungle: you may finally exhale because it ain't happening.

Even Brooke Shields, who refused to accept the fact that Lipstick Jungle was over, has finally come to terms with it. The actress recently spoke to E! News about the cancellation.

"It was going to stay and we just were officially told it's finally not coming back. It's very sad," said Shields. "I think a lot of people were really sad, but I think we hung on a really long time. It was three great years that we've been working on it."

Fortunately, you can catch Kim Raver in Shona Rhimes' new pilot, Inside the Box, and Lindsay Price in the new witch pilot, Eastwick.  As for Shields?  Well, for now, look for her in the Latisse, the eyelash-lengthening treatment commercials.

If you care about the guys: Andrew McCarthy will star on the new Gossip Girl spin-off, while the sexy Robert Buckley will appear again on Privileged... if that series ever returns.

Victory and Joe: Engaged!

Lipstick Jungle Recap: "La Vie en Pose"

Friday's episode of Lipstick Jungle was definitely the season two finale of the show and possibly the series finale if NBC doesn't miraculously decide to renew.  Like most fans completely unwilling to let go of the show, we watch the full episode and loved it.

Lipstick Jungle Recap: "Indecent Exposure"

Wow, was Friday's episode of Lipstick Jungle fantastic for fans of Victory and Joe.  After Victory said no to his proposal Joe more or less disappeared from the show until Friday.  Now it looks like things are strong than ever between the couple!

Victory Surprises Joe!

Unfortunately, things for Nico and Kirby were not so good.  They look no closer and Nico looks to be growing closer to Griffin of all people.  Shane and Wendy are definitely experiencing their own share of marital problems.  All together it was a great episode and you should catch up with our "Indecent Exposure" recap.

Lipstick Jungle Recap: "Bye, Bye Baby"

On Friday's episode of Lipstick Jungle, there was more trouble in paradise for Nico and Kirby as baby Charlie got in the way, yet again.  However, even when Megan's parents came to take Charlie away, there was still baby on only one half of the most beautiful couple on TV.

Wendy, meanwhile, spent the episode bonding with her daughter, getting her movie made, and fighting off an increasingly hostile Shane.  Victory managed to land one of the best design jobs out there.  Read every last detail in our "Bye, Bye Baby" recap now!

Lipstick Jungle Recap: "Thanksgiving"

Friday night's episode of Lipstick Jungle, "Thanksgiving," seemed a lot like one of our turkey days: there was plenty of family and drama.  Nico and Kirby got to babysit an unexpected child... Charlie.  Wendy had to deal with Shane heading off to spend the holiday with his attractive manager, Josie (Vanessa Marcil).

Dahlia and Victory Show Up Late

Lipstick Jungle Still on the Air

Rumors that Lipstick Jungle got canceled last week alongside My Own Worst Enemy can finally be put to rest.  According to the New York Times, the co-chairman of NBC, Ben Silverman has stated the network plans on airing the current 13 episodes they ordered of the show.

The numbers from DVR and other devices came in and ratings are up 50% from the previous week.  Additionally, the network is going to closely watch the numbers and if they continue to grow they'll order new episodes.  Fans, rejoice.

NBC Cancels Lipstick Jungle and My Own Worst Enemy

NBC confirmed what a lot of us were featuring freshman series My Own Worst Enemy and returning sophomore series Lipstick Jungle have both been canceled according to The Hollywood Reporter.  What remains unsure is whether NBC will air the remaining episodes of Enemy, which is shooting its ninth episode, and Lipstick Jungle which just finished shooting its thirteenth.

The Lipstick Ladies at a Jewelry Party

We have to confess as big Lipstick Jungle fans we're sad that we may never get closure on what happens to our leading ladies and their respective hunky significant others.

In its new Friday time slot, Lipstick Jungle continued to delight fans with yet another great episode, "Let the Games Begin."  The new episode included two great guest starring ladies that came to stir up trouble: Mama Atwood (Rosanna Arquette) and Josie (Vanessa Marcil).
