Sam Roland Heughan is a Scottish actor born on April 30, 1980, in Balmaclellan, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Heughan, who has had roles on both stage and screen, found fame as Jamie Fraser on the Starz series Outlander, based on the successful book series by Diana Gabaldon. Heughan also stars on another Starz series with his former Outlander costar, Graham McTavish called Men In Kilts: A Road Trip with Sam and Graham.
