Can Daenerys Targaryen be trusted?
That seems to be the question Jon Snow is pondering on Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 2 in the wake of learning the truth about the dragonglass being on, well, Dragonstone.
We witnessed Daenerys and her team arriving on the island at the close of Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 1, and it looks like the island is going to prove integral to winning the war against the White Walkers.
On paper, it sounds good to make an alliance between Jon and Daenerys, but neither of them actually know one another, and considering how wicked some of the people are in Westeros, they are no doubt questioning whether one can trust the other.
The official episode synopsis teases that "Daenerys receives an unexpected visitor." Could that visitor be Jon Snow? I'm going to assume that yes, Jon Snow and the Mother of Dragons are crossing paths.
Aside from the Jon/Daenerys drama, it looks like the show is throwing it all the way back to Game of Thrones Season 1 with Arya being reunited with Nymeria.
There's something so exciting about this meeting because it means Arya will essentially be a young woman and her direwolf, strutting around the land, killing everyone who has ever looked at her the wrong way.
Then there's Cersei who is less than impressed about Daenerys being in the equation, but it must be especially annoying when you consider the fact her brother is helping out her enemy.
When you play the Game of Thrones, you need to prepare to be double-crossed.
