That's what Carrie Underwood says, at least - and she's not crying a river over breaking up with the Gossip Girl hottie.

"We broke up over text, so it's like 'peace out,'" Underwood said of breaking up with Chace Crawford during Idol Gives Back.

"It was completely mutual, we're both fine," she added, saying they "have not talked in a while, but I don't dislike him. It's no big deal."

Their relationship "just didn't work," Carrie Underwood said, "and we both knew it didn't work and [there are] no hard feelings at all."

The Chace Crawford-Carrie Underwood relationship was short-lived.

Dating in the public eye is "difficult ... because people always make a lot bigger deal of things than they actually are," she said.

Their split was said to happen because of their busy schedules.

"They couldn't spend time together," a source said. "It was hard."
