... a fashion label? Possibly. Really.

Gossip Girl's hot mom was shopping recently in the Hamptons, where the show is being filmed, and was overheard saying that she and her husband, German businessman Daniel Giersch, named their nearly 2-year-old boy, Hermés Gustaf Daniel Giersch because she loves the Hermes designer label.

"She also said her husband once worked as a mailman and the messenger god is Hermes," a New York Post witness revealed.

We don't know what to make of that name, but here's a cute picture of Kelly Rutherford and the little tyke in question...
