There's bigger 90210 news this morning than the fact that Adam Gregory and Jessica Lowndes are dating:

Jason Priestley and Shannen Doherty are on their way back to the zip code that made them famous!

Sources have confirmed to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello that Priestley is scheduled to direct the 18th episode of the show, which is set to air this spring. Another insider, meanwhile, told the intrepid TV columnist that Doherty would be returning for a pair of episodes later this season.

"She's coming back. The deal isn't officially done, but it's happening," said the second source.

90210 Executive Producer Gabe Sachs wouldn't verify these stories, but he did say it would be cool if Priestly got to direct either Doherty or Jennie Garth (who is set to appear on at least six more 90210 episodes):

"I think it would be a kick for Jason to work with any of his [former 90210 costars], and it would also add something special to that episode. But we don't know whether that will happen yet."
