Listen up, Upper East Siders. Ed Westwick has a message for you:

He isn't fat.

Asked to name the craziest rumor he's heard about himself, the handsome Gossip Girl star who plays Chuck Bass tells E! News: "That I'm fat!"

"It was something like 'the wardrobe department on Gossip Girl has to keep changing his clothes due to his expanding waistline,'" he added, referring to an April In Touch Weekly celebrity gossip magazine report. "It's ludicrous!"

Westwick has never been shy about showing off his bod, as we knot. Dude walks around shirtless quite frequently. Not that we're complaining.

Call him fat or whatever you want, Ed is a heart throb!

He took off his shirt as he and girlfriend, co-star Jessica Szohr, chilled by the pool at the Mondrian hotel in L.A. before hitting up Hollywood Life's Young Hollywood awards.

Ed won the Breakthrough Male award on Sunday.

The two return to NYC at the end of this month to shoot the new season of Gossip Girl. We can't wait to see what new storylines await us then.

Asked how similar he is to his womanizing character, Westwick tells E! that he likes to think he's a "little more secure and less destructive."

Oh, and how are things going with Jessica Szohr?

"Very fine," Westwick says.
