Charles Pratt: Out as All My Children Writer
Matt Richenthal at .A major writing shake-up has gone down on All My Children.
The somewhat controversial reign of Charles Pratt, Jr., which began in June 2008,is over. He's been released from that position, ABC confirms, though the network won't elaborate on the reasons behind the firing.
Reports indicate that former writer Lorraine Broderick will take over, as All My Children transitions to filming on the West Coast.
She served as co-head writer of AMC from 1987-1988 and has also written for Another World, As The World Turns, Days of Our Lives, Guiding Light and One Life to Live.
