The major news surrounding Hawaii Five-0 Season 3 has already been revealed: yes, we'll meet Steve McGarrett's mother and, oh yes, she'll be played by Emmy winner Christine Lahti.

But in its latest Mega Buzz column, TV Guide reveals another fun casting nugget:

Ed Asner will reprise the role of smuggler August March, the same role he reprised last season after he originated it on the original Hawaii Five-0.

Look for McGarrett to seek March's assistance when a pair of priceless paintings are stolen - and for a kidnapping, hostage situation and shootout to result from the crime.

We've also learned the title of the Hawaii Five-0 Season 3 premiere: "La O Na Makuhine." It will air some time this September.
