USA has confirmed what most have been suspecting for weeks:
Burn Notice will come to an end after its seventh season.
Sid net co-presidents Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber in announcing the news:
"From day one, Burn Notice‘s characters, storylines and mythology have consistently captivated a massive audience, and this final season will raise the stakes even higher, leading up to a spectacular series finale."
The Burn Notice Season 7 premiere airs on June 6, but USA has inked a deal to remain in business with creator Matt Nix.
Deadline reports that it has ordered a pilot for Complications. The Nix-producer drama will center on an ER doctor whose life changes after he is involved in a gang shooting, prompting him to dig deeper into how a physician can truly help his patients.
