NBC Picks Up Chicago Fire Spinoff

It's official: NBC has picked up Chicago PD, the spinoff whose characters will be introduced on this month's season finale of Chicago Fire.
The new drama will be produced by Dick Wolf and focus on the city's Intelligence Unit, which investigates Chicago's most serious crimes.
Among other NBC orders for the 2013-2014 schedule, which will be presented on Monday:
- Ironside will star Blair Underwood as a brilliant, wheelchair-bound police detective. Blair Underwood now plays the role, with Pablo Schreiber, Neal Bledsoe, Brent Sexton and Kenneth Choi as part of the ensemble. Michael Caleo ("Rescue Me") updated the brand.
- Undateable is from Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence and will feature Chris D'Elia and Brent Morin) as mismatched roommates.
