AMC has given us our first look at The Walking Dead Season 4.

It's simply a photo of Rick in the woods, although he isn't exactly alone. Quick, Rick, turn around!

The fourth season of this cable sensation kicked off production on Monday.

Here is what we know so far about what's ahead:

• Chad L. Coleman (Tyreese), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha) and Emily Kinney (Beth) have been promoted to series regular status.
• Melissa Ponzio (Woodbury massacre survivor Karen) will recur.
• David Morrissey will return as The Governor.
• Lawrence Gilliard Jr. will star as a former army medic.

Look for The Walking Dead Season 4 to premiere in October.
