Adam Brody has booked a fun role on New Girl Season 3.

The beloved former star of The OC will appear on an early 2014 episode of the Fox sitcom as Berkley, a very former flame of Jess' who is now a stay-at-home father.

Look for Brody's character to be especially open with his feelings and to be a master at remaining friendly with his exes.

It's not hard to see how much that would bother Nick, is it?

Aside from The OC, Brody has also stopped by The League and House of Lies.

On New Girl Season 3 Episode 10 tomorrow night, meanwhile, Jess and company will celebrate Thanksgiving.
