HBO made an early, albeit not wholly unexpected announcement today at the Television Critics Association Press Tour:

Girls has been renewed for a fourth season. It will shoot this spring and air in early 2015.

The comedy will premiere its third season this Sunday with an episode that explores Jessa's sexuality, teased the panel of cast members and producers.

A reporter also asked star Lena Dunham the tired question of why the series features so much nudity, with the actress replying "i’s a realistic expression of what it’s like to be alive" and Executive Producer Jenni Konner saying the inquiry threw her into a “rage spiral.” 

As for whether or not Hannah and the ladies are likable, Dunham offered up a great response to critics:

“You seem to like Walter White.”
