Go ahead and have a good cry, Stefan, it's true: Damon is back.

Due to some serious heroism by Bonnie, he returned to present day Mystic Falls to close The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 5 last night, hugging his brother prior to the credits rolling and causing tears to well up in the eyes of viewers around the country.

But with Enzo being tortured for information on his fellow vampires by Tripp, will home feel very sweet for Damon?

• Alaric will ask Elena to dig into Jo’s past, seeing as she can’t be compelled.
• Caroline, Matt and Stefan will team up to rescue Enzo.
• Jeremy will hit rock bottom, lashing out in a very destructive way.
• Sarah will do some investigate work.
• Damon will receive some upsetting news while "taking matters into his own hands," per the network synopsis.

Are you happy to have Damon back? Do you think we've seen the last of Bonnie? And, seriously, what is up with Jo?!?
