The Millers Canceled by CBS

The Millers has been canceled.

Despite an all-star cast, the sitcom struggled to find a steady audience after losing its Big Bang Theory lead in. In its last airing, The Millers pulled a 1.5 in the coveted 18-49 demographic, and CBS believes it's bringing down the successful freshman series, Scorpion.

Second Thoughts - The Millers

The Millers is still set to air a new episode on Monday, November 17 and they have one more episode that will be filmed, however the fate of new installments of the sophomore series beyond next week is undetermined.

Its renewal at the end of the 2013-14 season was controversial given it had lower ratings than other freshman series, including Robin William's The Crazy Ones. Their reasoning for renewal at the time was its potential.

Fridays haven't been good luck for struggling sitcoms in recent weeks, as this makes the third week in a row at least one comedy was given the ax.
