But just as this witch is coming back to Mystic Falls, the love of her life will be leaving.

Elsewhere, it looks like Staroline fans may finally get their wish, as Caroline and Stefan grow a lot closer up at the former’s family cabin, where Sheriff Forbes is living out her final days.

First, though, she’ll seek Damon’s help in solving one last open case, one that involves Elena’s parents.

Finally, look for a violent confrontation with Enzo to cause Jeremy to wonder whether he should leave or not, while Matt finds his own life on the line after Enzo lures him and Sarah into his dangerous scheme.
