It was probably about time for something like this to happen.

On Grey's Anatomy Season 11 Episode 20, a a small plane crash in Seattle brings back bad memories for the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

There will no doubt be reminders of the crash that killed off two beloved characters, injured Derek's hand causing him to take a break from surgery, and resulted Arizona losing her leg.

That crash is also the reason the hospital is no longer "Seattle Grace Mercy West." In "One Flight Down" the memories of the crash will affect Meredith and Arizona the most.

Meanwhile, Owen and Amelia continue to work through their issues, and there's clearly friction between them. That friction seems to be affecting their work, and it creates a particularly uncomfortable working environment for Stephanie.

There's also the big question we were left with at the end of Grey's Anatomy Season 11 Episode 19. Where the heck is Derek? Is he hurt? Does the plane crash affect him in any way? Or did he simply miss that meeting because of the research assistant?
