Emily Swallow Joins Supernatural Season 11 in "Sinister" New Role

As detailed at Comic-Con this month, Supernatural Season 11 will find Sam and Dean teaming up once again in order to take down some serious bad guys.

And at least one bad gal, apparently.

According to TV Line, Emily Swallow (The Mentalist, Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce) has been cast in the recurring role of Amara, a villain described as both "seductive and sinister."

It remains to be seen just when Amara will be introduced... or what connection she has to the just-released Darkness. If any at all, that is.

Supernatural Season 11 premieres on October 11 on The CW.

It will find the brothers uniting against a "common target," with executive producer Jeremy Carver teasing the season thusly:

"This year, we are going to have a little bit more of an epic feel with a Big Bad and a real quest for the brothers to unite."

Supernatural Quotes

Why do they call this place The Empty? It's full. It's full of sorrow and despair playing over and over again of angels and demons dreaming about their regrets. Forever.
