Superman came to Kara's rescue on Supergirl Season 1 Episode 3  and she wasn't exactly happy about it.

Below, TV Fanatics Christine Hinton, Jim Garner, and Stacy Glanzman support James' decision to call Superman, discuss Kara's feelings, and envy her metabolism.

Was James right to call Superman?

Christine: Yes. As much as Kara doesn't want to be overshadowed by her powerful cousin, she was outmatched this time, and she can’t help anyone if she gets herself killed. Sometimes it’s okay to ask for help, and James was obviously scared for her.

Jim: As Christine said above, yes he should have called him. Kara was clearly out matched on this one. Besides, just because her cousin didn't have help doesn't mean she can't take advantage of his knowledge.

Stacy: Agreed, James did the right thing. If he hadn't, there's a good chance she'd be dead. Better to ask forgiveness later in this situation.

What do you think of Winn's new secret headquarters?

Christine: They really did need a place to have their secret meetings. Isn’t Winn a sweetheart? Too bad he’s been friend zoned. I can’t imagine no one wants that office. In my former place of work, people were tripping over one another to get better office space, it didn’t matter if the previous person died, retired, or was fired.

Jim: Seriously Christine, I've seen people willing to help shampoo the carpet if they could get an empty office. My only concern would be if they were accessing the world through the company lines that the IT department might notice.

Stacy: I thought it was a really sweet gesture on Winn's part, and something they definitely needed.

Who are you more intrigued by, Hank Henshaw or Maxwell Lord?

Christine: Hank. I’m really looking forward to finding out his background and whether or not he’s there to eventually take Supergirl down or use her in some way.

Jim: I'm kind of curious why Lord said Superman saved him and then turned around and said "twice in two days" to Supergirl. Clearly he's giving her proper credit in person, why not the press?

Stacy: I am curious about both of their intentions, but right now I'm more interested in Hank and his glowing red eyes.

Should Kara tell James how she feels?

Christine: Tough call. Their relationship has barely gotten off the ground, and now his ex is back. That's seriously awkward. If it were me, I’d probably hang back and see how that plays out before putting myself out there.

Jim: Agreed Christine, waiting to see how James deals with the ex is going to be crucial information to know if their relationship could even work. Then again, if you've ever read "Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex (by Larry Niven)" the physics involved with a human/kyptonian relationship could be troublesome.

Stacy: I agree that she should wait and see how things play out with the ex. Plus, she has a lot on her plate right now.

What was your favorite quote or scene?

Christine: I liked the messages between Clark and Kara. It was just enough to show their connection and make Superman/Clark feel more human even though we really don’t get to see him.

Jim: I have to go with Alex supporting her sister in love and work. Nobody knows you like your sister, and some of the looks and comments in this episode reminded me that Alex and Kara are sisters even if they are from different planets.

Stacy: I liked everyone coming together to help Kara bring down Reactron. Alex and Hank providing info over the phone, James acting as the distraction, etc.

Did anything disappoint you?

Christine: Lucy Lane. Oh man, that’s going to be tough on Kara. Also, I’m a little unreasonably jealous that Kara can eat all the potstickers she wants and never gain a pound. There’s a super power I’d like to have.

Jim: Do Clark and Kara not understand how work computers are monitored? I loved their exchange, but it should have been text messages on a phone NOT on IM chat through CatCorp monitored interwebs were IT could easily see their conversation. (ps: I agree with the potstickers super power, I want that one).

Stacy: I agree with Christine. It feels a little early to be throwing the ex-girlfriend into the mix. Also, Kara totally should have just let Alex have that last potsticker. Next time, order more!
