The Walking Dead Finds Its Negan!

It's a pretty good time to be Jeffrey Dean Morgan these days.
The actor, who TV fans first fell in love with on Grey's Anatomy and on Supernatural, is stealing every scene in which he appears these days on The Good Wife Season 7.
And now he's been cast on television's most popular show.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Morgan will guest star on The Walking Dead Season 6 finale as Negan, the leader of the Saviors, a ruthless group of survivors.
He will then be upgraded to series regular for The Walking Dead Season 7.
In comic book lore (SPOILER ALERT! MAYBE!), this villain actually kills Glenn with Lucille, his barbed wire-covered baseball bat.
Of course, fans of this AMC smash are currently awaiting word on whether or not Glenn has already perished in the television universe.
In Robert Kirkman's comic book series, Rick and the Alexandrians battle with Negan multiple times before ultimately defeating the character (with some help from the inside), as Rick takes Negan prisoner.
The Hollywood Reporter also states that Matt Dillon and Timothy Olyphant were up for the role.
