Roger that, Outlander Season 2!
And then some!
The beloved Starz hit has announced a major piece of casting news, with Scottish actor Richard Rankin set to come on board as Roger.
An integral character in the book series on which Outlander is based, Roger is the grown-up version of Rev. Wakefield’s adopted son, who we met during Outlander Season 1.
Described as “intelligent, kindhearted and charming,” Roger is a professor at Oxford who is very interested in history. He will play a key role in moving Claire and Jamie's story forward.
Which is interesting, of course, because their goal is to change history.
Outlander Season 2 will kick off this spring, with creator Ronald D. Moore confirming that the series will soon announce the casting of Brianna, another key character.
