Pretty Little Liars Round Table: Who Did It?

They're back!

Pretty Little Liars Season 6 Episode 11 found the liars returning to Rosewood, but it wasn't log before the torment began again for them.

Below, TV Fanatics Jay Ruymann, Paul Dailly and Rachel Miller are joined by Meaghan from The Hunt for A . Join in as they discuss Charlotte's death, Spaleb and Shower Harvey.

Write a eulogy for Charlotte.

Meaghan: Charlotte, Cece, Charles, gone too soon, but you lived a full life. You were crowned prom queen at a school you never attended, you dated your brother, framed your sister for murder, and you stalked four teenage girls for two years for reasons unknown to pretty much anyone. What more could you have asked? May you and your black hoodie rest in peace in a nut house in the sky.

Jay: We are gathered here today to celebrate the death of beloved tormentor, kidnapper and murderer, Charlotte DiLaurentis. Charlotte was always so attached to dolls, her fondest memory was locking the PLLs and Mona in her underground dollhouse and using psychological tactics to torture them. I'll never forget the time Charlotte drove a car into Emily's living room, almost killing Pam Fields. I can only hope she is looking up at us now and smiling.

Paul: Charlotte, you were just collateral damage because of how poorly received the A reveal was. I feel bad that you got such a bad send off, but you had to go.

Rachel: Dearest Charlotte, you spent most of your life torturing your sister’s friends, simply because they weren’t sad enough when she mysteriously disappeared. You were pretty much responsible for majority of the deaths in Rosewood. Not to mention, you dated your brother and took on a whole persona known as CeCe Drake. May you rest in peace.

How do you feel about Spencer and Caleb potentially being a thing?

Meaghan: Can someone please point me in the direction of the writer who thought that this would be a brilliant idea? One thing that has always stuck out to me in PLL in comparison to other young adult oriented shows (One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, Dawsons Creek, etc.) is that the friends don't pass around love interests like they're at a swingers party.

These girls have been through too much together to start dating each other's exes. Plus, we all know Spoby and Haleb are endgame. They already have enough obstacles in their way to get to that point. Why throw in another one?

Jay: Disappointed. Spencer was always the most loyal friend, no matter the circumstances. Her possibly dating her best friend's ex, and ex's best friend is very sad, and it's sad to see the writers ruin another friendship.

Paul: I'm surprisingly down for it. It was one of the few things that didn't feel forced about the premiere.

Rachel: I agree with Meaghan. Caleb and Spencer being a thing is down right ridiculous. It’s never okay to date your friend’s ex/ex’s friend. We all know that Caleb and Hanna are meant to be together. Same goes for Toby and Spencer. Are the writers trying to create a shock factor with this potential relationship?

Whose speech at court resonated with you most?

Meaghan: Aria's. Hands down. While I still believe that Charlotte was working under someone else, right now she is the face they are putting to their tormentor. They were put through so much by A.

As messed up as Charlotte was by her upbringing, it doesn't excuse what she did to them. Especially when they did nothing to her. Aria told it like it is. Their lives have been much safer with A locked up. Tempting fate by letting her out didn't seem worth the risk.

Jay: Aria's. Out of all the girls, I figured Spencer would've been the one to be truthful. Aria was always the least tormented of the group, so it's interesting to see that it affected her the worst.

Paul: I agree with everyone else. Lucy Hale's acting was outstanding throughout the opener, and I'm really intrigued to find out what's next for her.

Rachel: Definitely Aria. She was the only one who had the guts to tell the truth. I was sad to see that the other girls once again fell into an Alison trap. They let Ali convince them to lie for her. What happened to growing older and thinking for yourself for once?

What did the liars do to Shower Harvey?

Meaghan: Forced her to go without a shower for a whole day? Put her back in the yellow tank top? I'm not sure yet. But, she could at least see, so she must have had it better than Jenna. Please though, can the writers stop trying to make Sara Harvey happen?! It's not going to happen! Couldn't it have been her and her ugly, unnecessary veil pushed from the bell tower?

Jay: She looked like physically moving at all was painful at the funeral. Maybe they hit her with a car? I honestly don't know, there weren't many hints.

Paul: I'm not sure I care that much. She was a horrible character earlier in the season, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Rachel: Maybe they took away her water supply. I think the new deal with Sara will be parallel to The Jenna Thing. The liars did something tragic to Sara that has scarred her.

I just wish a random character like Sara wasn’t given such an important role. Red Coat and Black veil, really? Those were two of the most important characters, and they gave it to someone that was first introduced to us during Pretty Little Liars Season 4.

What's your theory on Charlotte's death?

Meaghan: I'd like to say that it is Uber A, but I think it is going to be this "he" they were referring to in the flash forward clip during Pretty Little Liars Season 6 Episode 10 (who I don't believe is Uber A). Maybe Lucas back for revenge?

Jay: I think Dr. Rollins is involved. First of all, he's a creepy doctor in Rosewood. Second, he's dating (and soon marrying) his patient's sister. Nothing good is connected to him.

Paul: I think Lorenzo is in on it. He was with Ali for some time, so he could be doing it because she's all cuddled up with Dr. Rollins. Crazy, I know, but you never really know with this show.

Rachel: This new big bad that the writers have talked about is definitely the killer. But this person seems to want revenge on not only the liars but Charlotte as well. It has to be someone we’ve met before. If the new villain is another random new character, I’d probably scream.

Grade the premiere!

Meaghan: B+. I would have given this a solid A if if wasn't for the Caleb and Spencer thing that is brewing. Other than that, this episode gave the show the fresh revamping it needed. I actually am excited to watch it again like I was in the old days before I became so insanely frustrated with it.

Jay: B+.

Paul: C+. The slate was wiped clean for the most part, but I just don't know how long I can cope with filler episodes. The premiere was very clunky. It could be because like 95% of what was going down was revealed beforehand.

Rachel: I’d give it a B-. It truly paralleled Pretty Little Liars Season 1 Episode 1. Everyone has their own lives and getting reacquainted with one another. I enjoyed seeing the Radley transformation as well as the liars finally being adults.

Pretty Little Liars Season 6 Episode 12 airs Tuesday, January 19, and you can get a look at some pictures from the new installment below!
