AMC's martial arts series Into the Badlands will be back for a second season.
The network has renewed the series for 10 episodes to air in 2017.
Into the Badlands delivered the third highest-rated season in US cable history, so the network is not going to let it slip away!
“With its deep dive into authentic martial arts, the visually stunning Into the Badlands proved to be unlike anything else on television,” said Charlie Collier, president of AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios.
“Co-creators and showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar, along with a talented team of producers, cast and crew, brought us an artfully crafted series.”
AMC Gobal will launch Into the Badlands Season 2 within minutes of the US airings, an approach similar to that used for Season 1, which brought them worldwide success.
