Hook was left behind in the Underworld while Hades double crossed the heroes on Once Upon a Time Season 5 Episode 20.

Our TV Fanatics Jim Garner, Allison Nichols, and Christine Laskodi are joined by Teresa from Once Upon a Fan to debate whether Hook is gone for good, which side Zelena will choose and what’s Hades master plan after “Firebird.”

Is Hook really gone for good, and if so, will you miss him?

Teresa: Hook most certainly isn't gone for good. I believe he will be absent only before the first commercial in Once Upon a Time Season 5 Episode 21. A lot of investment has been put into Hook and CaptainSwan, so all will be fine. Hook and Emma will be snogging happily by the season finale.

Jim: I would have trouble believing Hook is gone for good. As Teresa said, a lot of time and energy has been put into CaptainSwan.

Allison: I really hope not. Emma and Killian have been through so much, and yet they have never really had a chance to be happy.

Christine: I'm going to be so angry if I've invested so much into that character and into his romance with Emma if that's his ending. Isn't he a huge fan-favorite? Why? Why would they do this to him?

When Zelena finds out what Hades has done, whose side will she choose?

Teresa: I think she'll choose Hades' side. Zelena is not Belle, and I can see her being out for herself, nabbing her happy ending no matter what it means for Team Heroes.

Jim: I really want to think that Zelena will be upset, but since everyone (but Killian) got out, she won't be as bothered as Regina and the others will be.

Allison: I'm hoping she'll side with Regina because then it will really show that she's changed. Zelena did try to wait for Regina before entering the portal. Regina showed how she's changed her opinion on Zelena. She trusted Zelena enough to be responsible for taking Robin's daughter back to Storybrooke. I don't think Zelena will do anything that would risk her relationship with Regina and her daughter.

Christine: I think all season has been leading up to her learning to trust Regina, and as I've said before, I'd be disappointed in her character growth if she chose Hades.

Any idea what Hades master plan is now that he's gotten to Storybrooke?

Teresa: Hades has laid out his plans: he wants Storybrooke for himself and Zelena – as a family with the baby. I can see him meticulously taking out those in his way, one by one.

Jim: I have to agree with Teresa on this one, he did kind of say what he wanted next.

Allison: I still think he wants to do the time travel spell to ensure that he's the one ruling Olympus. I'm not sold that he's changed.

Christine: I also thought it was pretty clear that he wanted a family life, odd as that seems. But what Allison said also makes sense. He could want to go back in time and change things.

There are rumors that someone from Storybrooke will really die? If you could choose, who would that be?

Teresa: If I could choose? Oddly enough, Henry. That way he could go to the Underworld and complete what he began in Operation Firebird. Then he would be free to write himself and Hook back to life. Being The Author has its perks!

Jim: After seeing the preview, I actually thought it might be Henry as both Regina and Emma were looking devastated. Now, reading Teresa's theory, I think it might be a stronger bet than I initially thought. He would still be my choice at this point.

Allison: The promo said something along the lines of the heart of Storybrooke died. To me, that sounds like Snow White. If not her, then Henry. I'm hoping neither one of them dies, but it's not looking good.

Christine: I think I predicted a few weeks ago that Henry would go, but then it's like, would they really kill off a kid? BUT – having Henry die would have HUGE ramifications for everyone, because he's really and truly connected with them all. So, it would make sense.

Was there anything in “Firebird” that disappointed you?

Teresa: The flashback. I didn't find myself as engaged as I anticipated with this chapter of Emma's life. I wanted to get back to Underbrooke where the action was.

Jim: The flashback was a bit jarring. It seemed a long way around for "this is my armor." They really could have done that in much less time and kept us in Underbrooke more.

Allison: I didn't enjoy the flashbacks, and I still don't really understand how Henry was suddenly aware about how to use his Author powers to help people. All we know about his powers is that he would go to sleep and wake up to new pages being written. How did we get to Henry being able to figure out what people's unfinished business was?

Christine: We all agree. Flashbacks.

What was your favorite quote or scene from the episode?

Teresa: "Not Hell and not the Devil" by Zelena. I love the sources behind the stories, and any moment to clarify the myths on which Once's stories focus is a delight to me.

Jim: I loved that Pan is gone for good. Seriously, I'm sooooooooooooooo happy you have no idea!

Allison: I loved Killian's quote: "Why can you only admit how you feel when one of us is facing certain death?”

Christine: I'm totally with Jim on this one. I DESPISED Peter Pan. I'm so beyond thrilled that he's finally out of the picture. But then again, I thought he was already out of the picture...so...never say never on this show!
