Gabriel Luna will be bringing Ghost Rider to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4!
The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. San Diego Comic Con panel on Friday concluded with a teaser video showing the Ghost Rider skull blazing in the foreground with the tag line, "Vengeance comes this fall."
Many of you may be familiar with Ghost Rider from the Nicolas Cage movies.
Ghost Rider is a supernatural entity that takes over a human host.
When cursed, the host looks skeletal and their head appears to be in flames. That's hellfire, my friends.
The character who will be hosting the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Ghost Rider will be Robbie Reyes.
Ghost Rider also rides a motorcycle that appears to defy gravity and goes faster than all other vehicles.
The entity seeks out souls and forces them to feel the pain equal to that they've inflicted on all others.
Ghost Rider is also virtually indestructible, and no weapons can do him harm. Not bad, right?
At this time, I can't fathom a guess how he's going to fit in with the team. But, we'll roll with it! Seems fun.
Other news from the panel included:
With Bobbi and Hunter currently off the series and their own spinoff nixed, there isn't word on whether or not they'll return to S.H.I.E.L.D.
Executive Producer Jed Whedon said, "It's definitely classified but keep watching."
Since Daisy's love interest was killed off the show, they're trying to cast a new one for her, but it's proving more difficult than they thought.
"We're trying to cast that but nobody seems to want the job because it has an extermination date," Clark Gregg joked.
Are you ready for Ghost Rider to scream on the scene?
How to you think he'll fit into the rest of the team?
We'd love to know what you think of this and all the other news.
