Nina Dobrev is returning to television, but her return to the small screen will not include her stopping by Mystic Falls.
Dobrev will appear on an episode of Workaholics, but the details are pretty sketchy at the moment.
Nina tweeted a video from the set that indicated she would be taking on part Comedy Central's hilarious comedy series.

Fans have been clamoring for Nina Dobrev to return to The Vampire Diaries because it's the final season.
Her character, Elena Gilbert is currently in a magic induced coma that Kai cast on her on The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 22.
The character has been in limbo ever since and probably won't be making it back into the land of the living until Bonnie inevitably dies.
As much as fans want her back, nothing has been confirmed.
Julie Plec has been very vocal about a promise Nina made to her when she originally departed the CW drama, but it's unclear whether she would let her former boss down.
There will be a contingency plan in place in the event that Dobrev's schedule can't accomodate a return visit, but it would be good to give the character a proper conclusion.
The Vampire Diaries Season 8 has been a surprisingly decent affair, but all of Damon's memories of Elena were replaced on the most recent episode.
Might Elena return to save her lover from destroying everything he has worked to change about himself?
There's no denying that it would be a great storyline, but we just can't imagine the show ending any other way.
Fans probably wouldn't stand for a body double for Elena stepping in to show her waking up from behind.
Aside from her new gig on TV, Nina has been keeping busy with her movie career.
She will next appear in xXx: Return of Xander Cage, which opens in January.
How do you feel about this casting news?
Should Nina head back to The Vampire Diaries before the sun rises for the last time on Mystic Falls?
