And a Merry Quintis Christmas to all and to all a good night!
On Scorpion Season 3 Episode 11, Team Scorpion attempted to celebrate one holiday without being in a life or death situation.
Honestly, they should probably dream smaller and plan better.
They should accept the fact that something will go wrong, and therefore, they should let Cabe bring his weapon with him to all holiday gathering or parties.
For geniuses, they really don't prepare for the worst case scenario all that well.
The case had a lot of promise, and by case, I obviously mean the Home Alone-esque sequence. It was a little upsetting that it lasted all of three minutes, and the bad guys barely set two feet into the cabin.
For gun runners, they are a bunch of wimps. I mean Harry and Marv made it into various rooms in the house, and they are just ordinary criminals! Talk about some lame bad guys.
Then, there was the Sam "twist," which really was not all that shocking. Also, why kidnap Ralph? Sam had a better chance of not being chased after by as many vehicles if he fled on his own.
If a member of Team Scorpion gets held hostage, it should be a bigger to do and preferably last half or all of an episode.
Granted, Ralph being held captive is not something I want to see, but it still wasn't a thrilling hostage situation.
Ralph using Cabe's knife to escape was my favorite moment of the whole ordeal. Sam should pay better attention to his hostage.
Toby: Since when do you cut down trees?
Walter: I grew up on a farm where I cut down many trees.
Toby: I've seen photos. It was a dairy farm, not a lot of trees.
Walter: Yes because I cut them all down.
This definitely wasn't one of the best cases, but it still was fun to watch Scorpion's take on home alone. Hopefully, the new year will bring us more entertaining cases.
What did you think of the case of the week?
Okay, let's talk about the Tim and Walter fight.
Honestly, it was only a matter of time before this happened, but was anyone else just hoping that they could have stayed friends?
I liked their friendship more, even if they were really just pretending for Paige's sake.
Walter and Tim fighting brought out the ugliness in both of them. They both come off as extremely childish.
The only good thing to come out of this fight was that Walter apologized. He was able to recognize that he acted emotionally and that what he said was wrong.
This is progress for him. What did you think of Tim and Walter's fight?
Paige: You put him in the elevator?
Walter: It has a door...even I don't have a door.
Sly's race for Alderman has been handled pretty nicely. It does not take up a huge chunk of time; it's limited to fun little moments that do not detract away from the case of the week.
Personally, one of the best parts of Sly running for election is that it has allowed us to see some one on one time with Sly and various members of Team Scorpion.
Sly and Cabe have bonded, and this time around, Happy got to help out.
Happy and Sly's friendship is always something that I want more of. The fact that Happy was willing to dress up as an elf for Sly spoke volumes to their friendship.
Even though she was terrible at handing out flyers, Happy did give Sly some pretty great campaign advice. Who do you want to join Sly out on the campaign trail next?
Well, it looks like this was Tim's final episode. Even though I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, will you miss Tim?
I loved the geniuses' farewell to Tim. It was sweet, and it showed that despite what Walter said, Tim was a member of Team Scorpion.
