Holland Roden and Brandon Scott Join Channel Zero Season 3 on Syfy!!

If you missed Channel Zero: Candle Cove, well, boo on you.

Syfy's new anthology series is quite something, and apparently, I'm not the only one who thinks so.

The first cast members for Channel Zero Season 3 were just announced, as well as some details about the characters they'll play in the yet untitled installment.

Brandon Scott

Brandon Scott, known to TV Fanatics for his role on Grey's Anatomy as Ryan Spaulding, will be playing Officer Luke Vanczyk, a young but already jaded cop.

Luke will be living in the shadow of his father, the Chief of Police. His world-weary exterior will be hiding a fierce commitment to justice, and a deep love for his troubled community.

Scott is also known for roles in Stitches and the recent Blair Witch movie. Ooooh. Scary!

Meanwhile, with the end of Teen Wolf nearing, Ms. Holland Roden has lined up a new gig, as well!

Holland Roden

Without the need to be fighting for her life and those of her teen friends, she'll be taking on the role of an older sister in need of some care herself.

The details are a little rough, as we don't know who, exactly, Alice is in this scenario, but we can venture to guess, either way, it wouldn't feel too good to require the assistance of your sister to get through the day!

Roden will play Zoe Woods, Alice’s older sister, a sharp, tough young woman whose struggles with mental illness have worn her down over the years.

She hates that her younger sister has to take care of her, and she’d give anything to go back to the way things used to be.

We've already seen, to a degree, Roden's take on mental illness because of Lydia's struggle with Banshee qualities on Teen Wolf, so it will be interesting to see how this role differs.

I wish we knew more about the story, but it's still very early in the process, so we'll get more as the season gets closer.

Channel Zero: No-End House premieres in October on Syfy.

Like Candle Cove, it will be a six-hour installment. This one stars Ann Forsyth and follows an original story by Brian Russel about Margot, a young woman who visits the No-End House with her friends, a creepy place created of a never-ending string of increasingly disturbing rooms.

Creator Nick Antosca signed a new deal with Universal Cable Productions, as well as ensured Channel Zero Seasons 3 and 4 well ahead of the Season 2 premiere.

“Nick delivered a truly haunting and unpredictable first installment of Channel Zero and was embraced by fans and critics alike,” said Jeff Wachtel, President, Chief Content Officer, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.

“He is a fresh, passionate talent with a unique vision — precisely what we strive to cultivate here at UCP.”

I urge you to check out Channel Zero: Candle Cove. It's a lot of fun and something you don't want to miss!
