In the least surprising news of the season, ABC has renewed the show for another season.
The Good Doctor stars Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy, an autistic surgeon who moves to California to work at one of the biggest hospitals in the state.
It follows Shaun's unique way of helping his patients, but he also goes up against some of the other characters because they look down on the way he treats his patients.
