Wowza, right?

This marks a return to ABC for Ritter who previously starred on the one-and-done Kevin (Probably) Saves the World.

The series was canceled way before its time. It was heartwarming, with solid characters, and even a plot that could have been continued for several seasons.

Unfortunately, viewers did not connect with it as well as ABC had hoped, leading to its cancellation.

Still, the next best thing is for Ritter to appear in another fan-favorite drama series at the network.

Ritter has also appeared on Joan of Arcadia, The Event, The Class, and even Parenthood. He's a seasoned TV veteran who has appeared in a LOT of series during his time in the spotlight.

He is also attached as a series regular to the cast of Raising Dion, an upcoming Netflix series which follows the story of a woman named Nicole Reese, who raises her son Dion after the death of her husband Mark, according to the official logline.

The normal dramas of raising a son as a single mom are amplified when Dion starts to manifest several magical, superhero-like abilities.

Nicole must now keep her son’s gifts secret with the help of Mark's best friend Pat and protect Dion from antagonists out to exploit him while figuring out the origin of his abilities.

A Million Little Things Quotes

Theo: I'd like to make a toast. The Egyptians believed that you die twice. Once when you take your final breath, and then again the last time someone says your name. They believe your spirit lives on as long as people kept remembering you. So as long as we all keep remembering uncle Jon, he'll never really be gone. Was that okay?
Delilah: That is more than okay, Theo.

John: Friendship is when you don't care when your buddy throws up in your car when you're taking him back from chemo.
Gary: And yet he keeps mentioning it.
John: Friendship is believing that your friend will one day make his movie.
Rome: What do you think I'm doing?
John: Friendship is holding a friend's hand when she loses her restaurant even though you know she's going to open up a better one. It's the person that you trust with your wallet, and your keys, and your wife, and your kids and it's being able to have the hard conversations and willing to listen. It's a million little things.
Everyone: A million little things.
John: A million little things.
