YOU Season 2: Premiere Date Announced!

Netflix has a holiday gift for fans of YOU.

The hit thriller will stream its entire second season on Thursday, December 26.

YOU Season 1 followed Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), a man who became a little too obsessed with a woman named Beck (Elizabeth Lail.) The former stalked her throughout the entire season, before murdering her.

Pretty Prisoner - Tall - YOU Season 1 Episode 10

It was a harrowing season of TV, but there has to be more, right?

YOU Season 1 also wrapped with the revelation that Joe's ex-girlfriend Candace was still very much alive, even though there were strong hints that she had been killed along the way.

Joe left a trail of bodies in his wake, so it makes sense that the second season would move the action to another coast.

YOU Season 2 will take place in Los Angeles, and Joe will have a new woman to stalk. Victoria Pedretti of The Haunting of Hill House is set as a new series regular, playing an aspiring chef named Quinn.

It's unclear how she crosses paths with Joe, but there's no telling what crazy things will go down when he starts stalking her.

Charlie Barnett (Chicago Fire), Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham), Chris D’Elia (Undateable), James Scully (Heathers), and Jenna Ortega (Jane the Virgin) round out the rejigged cast.

YOU originally premiered on Lifetime last fall, and garnered a second season order ahead of it debut.

However, Lifetime ultimately scrapped its plans for the second season when the ratings did not hit the high marks it thought it would.

But Netflix could see the value in continuing the series, and picked it up for the second season. The show became a phenomenon when the streamer started airing the first season globally.

In fact, the series was watched by 40 million Netflix households within four weeks of its debut.

Netflix has also dropped the new poster, which shows Joe, Quinn, and Candace, accompanied by the tagline "Meet your match."

Given the way Candace is looking at Joe, we're going to assume things are most definitely NOT fine between them.

But Candace also proved to be a sketchy individual through flashbacks on YOU Season 1, so it will be fun to see what she gets up to.
