9-1-1 Lone Star Trailer: Rob Lowe and Liv Tyler Star in New Spinoff

It's almost time for the world of 9-1-1 to expand.

FOX on Monday dropped the first trailer for 9-1-1: Lone Star, a spinoff of the popular drama series starring Rob and Liv Tyler.

Premiering Sunday, January 19, out of the NFC Championship Game, Lowe stars as Owen Strand, a Manhattan firefighter who moves to Austin with the aim of fixing a fractured firehouse.

Owen knows all about fixing a fractured firehouse. He was the sole survivor of his own station following the September 11 terror attacks.

Despite moving to Austin with "big-city style and swagger," he "struggles with a secret he hides from the world – on that could very well end his life," according to the official description.

It's certainly an intriguing hook and one that should get audiences tuning in. The 9-1-1 former is tried and tested, and viewers love it.
