Amanda Tapping will be swooping into Supernatural Season 8 in a significant recurring role.
According to showrunner Jeremy Carver, the British actress will portray Naomi, someone Carver outlines as “cool and mysterious, part of a new group of angels we’ve never seen before.”
Tapping is best known for extended runs on Stargate and Sanctuary. She will debut on “A Little Slice of Kevin,” the season’s seventh episode.
Supernatural returns on Wednesday, October 3. It precedes the series premiere of Arrow.
