The CW favorite has announced that veteran actor Neal McDonough will come on board this fall in the series regular role of Damien Darhk, a villain referenced by Ra’s Al Ghul to close out Arrow Season 3.
Darhk, a colleague-turned-adversary of Ra’s, is described by series producers as being a “mysterious and sophisticated” bad guy, someone who will be the leader of a clandestine group on Season 4…
… and someone who will prove to be one of “the Arrow’s greatest challenges.”

McDonough most recently appeared on TNT’s Mob City, while also receiving praise for his work on FX’s Justified and USA Network’s Suits.
