Thomas Magnum is a decorated former Navy SEAL. When he returns home from Afghanistan, he must repurpose his military skills to start a new career as a private investigator.

Magnum also works as a security consultant to millionaire author Robin Masters, lives in the guest cottage on Masters' Hawaiian estate, and drives his Ferrari in the CBS-turned-NBC reboot series Magnum P.I
