It looks like Oliver spotted the bad guy. Or A bad guy, anyway. That's not just any finger point, right? That's THE finger point, the one that calls in the reserves, that makes all the other good guys come running in for an assist. Surely. Right?
In case you didn't notice previously, there was a bit of a security breach in Jessica Danforth's team as Lonnie Calvert (ANARKY!) got a role front and center on her protection detail! Oh no!!! Someone was not doing an adequate background check.
There aren't many members of the family left, and I suppose they are not technically Queens, since Thea's father is a Merlyn, but together they stand vowing to protect Jessica Danforth throughout her candidacy as mayor of Star City. They're good people!
Jessica Danforth (guest star Jeri Ryan) announces she's running for mayor of Star City, scaring the pants off of Oliver and Thea, as she's a dear friend. Nobody in their right mind would want a friend running for mayor when the last three people who had the job were killed!
Oliver appears to be looking for clues in the street. Maybe testing the type of oil left behind, looking at blood or tire tracks. Who knows, right? It could pretty much be anything with this guy. He's got his fingers in a lot of pies!
Laurel Lance taking Black Canary au natural this season is spectacular. The uber blonde, wigged hair was very cartoonish, and using her natural hair gives her a much grittier feel. She seems stronger and tougher. It will be interesting to see if her skills live up to her look.
Word is that Thea finally begins showing some signs of wear and tear after her resurrection in the Lazarus Pit. Maybe it's just me, but Speedy looks like she's just lumbering a bit in this photo. Maybe not her best self, exactly. What are the side effects of the pit, anyway? How crazy does one get?
OK. Now we're not kidding around. It's time to prepare for Anarky, because this is a clean shot of guest star Alexander Calvert as Lonnie Machin aka Anarky. He looks very angry, and I'm sure we won't like him when he's angry. Will he be targeting Jessica Danforth?
This is Oliver Queen, Green Arrow. He has a nifty, new sleeveless garment to do his superheroing in, which I think comes to him by way of his gal pal, Felicity, if we're to believe the unveiling in the trailers we've seen so far.
While she's not shown in any of the preview photos, this is Felicity's boyfriend, the superhero Green Arrow. His girlfriend will be faced with a tough business decision and look to her new employee, Curtis Holt, to help her out. Surely Green Arrow and Felicity will chat about it over dinner.
Neal McDonough is playing Damien Darhk this season, and he's giving a lovely sidelong glance at somebody. Do you want to be on his bad side? McDonough is not exactly known for playing the sweet, loving type, so he's likely got the role down pat.
It doesn't take long for Anarky to arrive in Star City, as we see Lonnie Machin chatting to Damien Darhk right here! What will the two be cooking up for the poor citizens? I guess we're about to find out!
What this city needs is somebody who can stand out in the light of day, not lurk around in the shadows. You said you were gonna be different this time, huh? How?
